- Public Transport: The gallery is well-serviced by public transport. Many major bus routes stop along Wellesley Street and nearby Queen Street. The Britomart Transport Centre (for trains and ferries) is a pleasant 10-15 minute walk away through Albert Park or down Queen Street.
Best Time to Visit
As an indoor attraction, the Auckland Art Gallery is a fantastic destination year-round, making it a perfect activity for a rainy day. General opening hours are 10 am to 5 pm daily.
